He then noted that "we've lost thirteen million barrels per day of oil" and suggested that governments should be looking to alternative energy sources. And given that the Strait of Hormuz is now under a DOUBLE blockade, that makes a lot of sense! In related news, German airline Lufthansa has announced it's cutting TWENTY THOUSAND European short-haul flights for the summer! This is due to the skyrocketing price of jet fuel, that's made certain routes "unprofitable." And this might just be the tip of the iceberg, as the IEA has warned that Europe could run out of jet fuel in a matter of WEEKS! And Karex, the world's foremost maker of condoms, has announced it's going to be raising its prices by as much as THIRTY PERCENT! And yes, this is due to the Iran war disrupting its supply chain and raising freight costs. Among the materials derived from oil that show up in condoms, you've got silicone-based lubricants and ammonia, which helps to preserve latex.
